Cooking > Social Life
Hello! Its been two weeks since my last blog post because of my last Spring Break was last week. However, it was hardly a break! Over the course of seven days (my entire spring break) I cooked 20 dishes, photographed them all, and am continuing work on my book (on top of completely reformatting my portfolio, rebranding myself- again, and reworking older projects). So, needless to say, I am exhausted- but happily so.
Remember that ridiculous Gantt Chart I showed you two weeks ago? Well, take a look at all the progress I've made since the last upload (Note: The red squares are dishes that I have completed, the black squares I have yet to cook/photograph):
I should also note that because of how much I got done during spring break, I actually gained quite a few additional days to spend on production, which I am ecstatic about! I am hoping to keep up this pace as much as possible until the end of next week so I can JUST focus on the actual book itself. I think this goes without saying, but I have dug myself a HUGE hole with this project that I have been happily filling with delicious food and very little sleep. But, the final product is going to be so exciting to share, and I've been gather quite a following for this project which has been keeping me motivated!
So in conclusion, I am working my tail off (still), force feeding my family (they're not complaining), and ahead of schedule. I shall conclude my post today with a few more sneak peak iPhone photos from Instagram of my most recent shoots- enjoy!
