Round Two!

Hello again! First off, I'm really excited right now. Secondly- I'm excited because I have decided to go with my second idea. I will be creating an entire cookbook, specifically designed for visual people, with all of the recipes will be written by me.

The premise of this cookbook will be "Food that makes you feel good". Now, that could be because it is a healthy alternative to something normally high in fat (Lets say, Avocado Chicken Salad instead of the normal mayo-loaded stuff), or it could be something hearty that reminds you of something nostalgic like your Grandmother. Regardless, the food you will see in this book are dishes that has made me feel good- from emotional, to physical, to mental.

I will not be creating a cookbook in the standard 'Betty Crocker' style of, "all text on the left page, photo on the right", I want this entire cookbook to be illustrated and photographed- every thing. I also want to include educational inserts to show you how to do certain techniques that many cookbooks over look (not everyone knows how to correctly and safely shell and avocado, for example). My goal for this project is to create 2-3 dishes a week; have them cooked, written and photographed. While doing that, I will simultaneously be working on the design of the spreads for this project, and over all functionality of the book. I want this book to be interactive, and again, designed for Visual Learners, like myself!

Here is some food photography that I've done recently, and I will likely be including my recipes that I wrote for these dishes in my cookbook! :)
