I love everything that graphic design stands for. I love the rush you get when you’ve found “the one." That one idea, that one strategy, that one inspiration that makes your heart race, makes your blood pump, makes you smile so hard that your cheeks hurt. Being excited about design is the kind of excitement that can make my whole day.
My name is Elisabeth Brennan. I graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design in May 2013 with a BFA in Graphic Design & Advertising & minor in Cinematic Arts, with a concentration in Photography. If thats not a mouthful, I'm not sure what is!
I currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio where I have spent the last four years working for Interbrand as a Digital Imaging Designer. At Interbrand, my work ranges on a wide variety of different platforms, methods, skill sets on a near daily basis. Some examples of the type of work do in any given week include:
- Graphic Design
- Illustration
- Photography
- Retouching
- Food Styling (I am IBC's only in-house food stylist)
- Building dimensional renders for various packaging & branding needs
- Design Conceptualizing & Ideation
- Adaptation work
- Spot Color/Spot Channel work
- Finalizing imagery to fit production specs
- Videography
- Motion Graphics
- Laughing at my own jokes
- & much, much more!
I absolutely love this field and the wide variety of opportunities that are presented in front of me daily. In addition to my every day tasks, I have also been co-manager of Interbrand Cincinnati's Design Co-Op program for the last 2.5 years.
I have a fire and passion behind me with what I do, because, simply, thats just the kind of person that I am. My preferred environment is one that is quick paced and constantly changing; I work so comfortably under pressure and love being challenged. I thrive most when I get to work amongst other creatives and get to challenge myself in new ways. Any opportunity where I can apply my skills and experiences to help a company grow with the most effective and professional methods, strategies, & executions possible is the right place for me. The more difficult the challenge, the better.
